Have you ever looked at all those adverts on TV, bus stops, Facebook, magazines, all over the place and wondered where they came from? Have you ever thought you could do a better job? Well, now is your chance!
Those adverts you see just about everywhere are called 'campaigns', and they were made by 'creative agencies'. Creative agencies are given briefs by big companies like those you see advertised, which ask them to come up with advertising campaigns to help the company sell something, or communicate a message, in an interesting and creative way.
And now they are asking you to have a go...
I Am Creative is asking you to come up with a campaign ideas in response to real creative briefs from huge companies such as BT and Nokia, who want to see your ideas. This is your opportunity to come up with better ads than the ones you see while you're waiting for a TV programme to start, and to get them actually seen by the company you are advertising.
So how do you do that? Well, it's simple. Go and have a look at the different briefs we have on the site and pick your favourite, check out the resource library for help and inspiration, and then have a go at coming up with an amazing idea for a campaign!
Once you have come up with your idea, you'll need to make a powerpoint presentation of what your idea is, how you came up with it, and where you think it should go, then upload it to the gallery. It will then be seen by the actual company that has written the brief and they will judge the ideas.
The winner will get £200 of high street vouchers and a place on our progression group, 'The Ladder'. One highly commended entry will also get a place on 'The Ladder'. Both of the top ideas will get feedback from the brand to put on their CV as well.
